A word from Psalms

My daily devotional email subscription offered up the following this morning:

So trust in the LORD and do good. Live on your land and be dependable. – Psalm 37:3 ERV

As I was on my way out shopping, I thought it a rather prompt reminder that we need to cut down on material things. This also goes hand in hand with one of my favorite quotes from Thessalonians. Strive to mind your own affairs, to live a quiet life, and to work with your hands (Paraphrased).

So let’s all go home, eat our leftovers, and work on trusting God and working our land.

Also, let’s call it GREEN Friday and buy plants.
